Chris Simonds
Attorney at Law
Chris has a diverse legal background and is proud to have founded the firm’s Divorced in a Day program. His legal studies included internships for Speak of the House Paul Ryan and international studies in London, Toronto, Barcelona, New Zealand and Australia. He was a member of his college hockey team. Recreationally, he spends time exploring the Arizona back-country with Kate and their German Shepherd Dog, spinning as a DJ, and maintaining his 100-ton master boat captain’s license.
Kate Simonds
Attorney at Law
Kate has practiced exclusively family law for over a decade. She has experience litigating nearly every issue in family court, including serving as a court appointed guardian ad litem. She has an international and comparative law background and majored in Equine Science in college. She still enjoys horse riding recreationally. In college, Kate worked for a leading expert as an advocate for death penalty abolition. Kate is a Harley-Davidson fan –on weekends, you can find her cruising the desert highways on a ’49 Panhead.
Barbara Mendoza
Paralegal
Barbara has served as a paralegal for nearly 20 years. As the managing paralegal at Simonds Law Group, PLLC, she works diligently to help our clients meet their goals and meet their needs. She obtained her degree from Phoenix College. Barbara is also fluent in Spanish.

Office Manager
Before becoming an office manager, Tina had a successful career in education. She taught 1st through 8th grade and had a passion for literacy and library science. At Simonds Law Group, PLLC, Tina serves as our main point of contact, and she is integral for positive client relations.
