Barbara Mendoza

Barbara is the managing paralegal at Simonds Law Group, PLLC and brings over 20 years of family law experience. Barbara earned her Associates’ Degree in Paralegal Studies from Phoenix College. An exceptionally motivated student, Barbara completed the American Bar Association (ABA) Certified Paralegal Program in 2006 while working full-time at a local law firm and raising her family. Barbara is also fluent in Spanish.

As managing paralegal, Barbara provides comprehensive support to both attorneys and clients throughout every stage of a case. She has extensive experience in complex litigation and is an integral part of trial preparation, case strategy, and ensuring accurate and timely disclosures and document management. She is known for her organization, responsiveness, and ability to keep cases moving efficiently.

Barbara is a Phoenix native and lives with her family in Uptown. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children, traveling throughout Arizona and the Southwest, and attending sporting events. She is an avid hiker and has completed the “AZ Bootlegger 100” challenge three times. She also has a wide appreciation for music and has attended dozens of concerts ranging in variety from Post Malone and Lady Gaga, to Led Zeppelin and Kiss.
